Happy Birthday Nana!

While my mom was visiting, we got to celebrate her birthday as well. I didn't get a great picture of her and both boys, but thought this was cute.
Mom--just wanted to say we're glad you came, and you really are the best Nana! Logan and Tate ADORE you (oh yea, Todd and I kinda like ya too) and we're so lucky to have you here!

Finished! Well, almost....

Check out our new bathroom! Todd has been working around the clock to get it finished by today. We had a team of realtor's come to check out our house and give us some feed back. Wow--he does good work doesn't he? It looks perfect. We just have a few touch ups and the carpet is waiting to be installed in the adjoining bedroom, then we will officially be able to list our house as "4 bedrooms, 3 bath." Yay. Did I mention it's listed? Anyone want to buy a lovely home in Idaho??

Easter Events

Pre-Easter week was filled with kid fun. The playgroup we go to had an Easter egg hunt that Logan and I went to (Tate was napping). We lucked out and had some sunshine and Logan had a great time. He was so excited to see what was inside those eggs, he finally said "I'm done hunting mom. I just want some candy."
We colored eggs--of course--and in typical Petersen boy style made a huge mess. Nana was here, and she had the privilege of sitting next to Tate. His hands were literally BLACK after from dipping his entire hand in the color cups. He kept saying "Ohhhhhh EEEEgggggss!" Todd sat next to Logan who, miraculously, remained fairly clean. Probably because daddy made sure of that.
After, we had another egg hunt with our neighbors. Elise (Logie's best buddy) and Logan collected tons of eggs, while Zach and Tate came in a close second. Zach just turned one, and I can't forget to give a shout out to Elise's 6-month old baby sister McKaylee who made an appearance in an Easter bunny outfit. They were all so cute. Tate and Zach totally won the prize for eating the most candy.

Zach, Tate, Logan, McKaylee and Elise. Notice how the boys aren't paying any attention to the camera and Elise strikes a perfect pose??? Such a girl.

Just moments before the hand dipping began.

Happy Easter!

OK, so I will put up some more pictures later, but this one was just too funny to pass up. This is totally the story of my life, Logan making goofy faces and Tate not paying attention. But, really, how cute are they in their coordinating Easter outfits??
